Jason Kelce to Retire After 2023 Season

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has announced that he will retire after the 2023 season.

Kelce, 35, is a five-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time Super Bowl champion. He has been a key member of the Eagles offensive line for the past 12 seasons.

Kelce made the announcement on his podcast, "New Heights," on Monday. He said the decision to retire was a difficult one, but he ultimately decided to call time on his career at 36 years of age.

Kelce was drafted by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as a starter and has been one of the most consistent players in the NFL since then.

Kelce has been a key member of the Eagles offensive line that has helped the team win Super Bowl LII and reach Super Bowl XXXIX. He has also been named to the Pro Bowl five times and was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2017.

Kelce is known for his tough, physical play and his leadership on the field. He is also a popular figure in the Philadelphia community and has been a vocal supporter of the city's charities.

Kelce's retirement will be a major loss for the Eagles. He is one of the most respected players in the NFL and has been a key part of the team's success in recent years.

The Eagles will have to find a replacement for Kelce, but it will be difficult to find a player who can match his talent and leadership.
